is there any 4 ports 6-speed AT rx8 ?
 

Hi, is there such thing as 4 port 6 speed automatic RX8 if, so where and what is the ECU numbers for them
The engine and tranny that I bought come with ECU n3j9 but its not running the motor .. I start to suspect that I was scammed

Search is a far better friend than me.

Curious how even got so far as to suspect ECU related issues as the bell housing should've been your first blocker.

If somehow the bell housing does fit the 6AT Tran then your biggest issue would be a TCM CEL that you could likely mask.

Is that better?

There are two 4 port options

Only offered 2004-2005

4 port 4 speed auto - US
4 port 5 speed manual - JDM

6 speed autos didn't emerge until 2006 and that point the 4 port motors were canned.

as a mater of fact I did use the search , found an old post, but nothing was done , someone already tried that, and looked like it worked for him.. but could not find the full info needed

also, (surprisingly) the trann fit the engine ... thats why I am asking !

but the car didn't start at all .
and yea , giving any advice even if not complete is better than being a sarcastic person with no help to provide .

any more info you could provide about masking ?
