Take Off

Hey guys, New to the forum but this seems to be the right place for rx8 questions. I am not new to the car scene but very new to the rx8's and the rotary scene. My girlfriend has a 2006 shinka, with the mazda speed exhaust, and kn drop in filter. Seems she has had this problem very seldom since she got the car, and it is starting to happen more frequent now, figures as the warrenty expired last week. When she starts to take off generally after the car has been sitting for a while like in the morning or after work, she lets out on the clutch (while giving it gas) and the car starts to take off and then falls on its face (doesnt stall) and then picks right back up again. Clutch doesnt seem to be slipping, happens with dsc on and off, and it doesnt happen all the time.

Car has no CEL, and hasnt really ever been to the dealer, because all the mazda dealers around me suck. I know for like 1 + year her mechanic was using synthetic oil, and I just switched it back over to regular. Just curious on what could be the problem? Any ideas let me know.

Yes you should do wires also. If you are going to spend the money to replace the coils and plugs, might as well replace the wires also for a little more. Search for BHR's coil upgrade.
