Strange Power Loss

1 Attachment(s)
Recently mostly while on the motorway or doing over 60 the traction control light flashes and I lose all power to the car until I pump the pedal a few times and then 3 lights come on the the car comes alive like never before!

When I switch ignition off and on again the issue is gone until I repeat the process?

Here is a Picture of the lights that are shown :

Get the engine codes read and report back. It sounds like your car is going into limp mode.

check your brake fluid level and get some gas.

I have checked brake fluid levels and they are okay. The fuel never really goes below that level. The thing is how can it be going into limp mode if after the lights come on the car performs so much better?

Update:

I ran an OBDII Scanner on the car without these lights on and it found no error codes, would i need to scan when these lights are on because they only come on after driving a little.

I have noticed that once i turn the traction control off i do not have these power loss problems, i have just fitted a new drop link to the wishbone as it has been snapped for a while and even since then the steering feels like it controls itself!

Could it be something to do with tracking causing a sensor to play up?

Its really frustrating because i cant seem to drive to car anywhere now without these lights appearing?

Thoughts?

Update:

I had a friend drive the car tonight and he is convinced there is a knocking noise coming from what he called the "rear diff" When you change gear does everyone hear a clunking noise come from the under the rear?

We was pressing the clutch up and down while stationary in 1st and could hear a clunking noise when lifting the clutch up quick, its coming from the rear end.

Anyones thoughts? Could it be the box where the power is transferred to the back wheels?
