Stick is wiggling

My stickshift is starting to wiggle (when I move it side to side) while seated in any gear.

It used to sit in pretty tight but now there is some play and it seems a little inaccurate when shifting. Is this normal wear and tear or should I bring it into the dealership or is there something I can do to fix this?

I have put the stock shifter back in but it still feels looser than when I first bought it. It's A LOT looser than the short shifter but that's normal.

Its norm mang. When I drive my Car hard like jack rabbit racing from light to light it will do this. But when I'm WOT! on the freeway its all good :smoker:

check for wear on the socket of the end of your shifter.

Yeah I check both bushings on the stock and SS and they are both pretty good. I think it has to do with where it seats in.

I don't know if that part is adjustable or not, I have tried to look down ini the bottom but it doesn't seem to be anything wrong.

Gil can I stop by and take a look at your car?

Wow, by just deleting a couple of sentences, it made it sound dirty.

I already have and Richard told me to send it in to have a look see but after reseating the stock shifter it also feels loose. But I will send it into him anyhow.

I forgot how loose the stock shifter was so I'm going to compare it to Dominion's shifter tomorrow and see if it feels the same as mine.
