ssv noise
 

hi, i am a new member, i have cleaned the ssv valve, it was stick closed, after that the ssv started to make tiking noise, if i put my finger on the valve it stops to make noise... how can i fix that?

I've got this problem now. I'm replacing the actuator itself...I'm thinking there might be a small leak in the diaphragm causing the SSV to not close fully when at idle. If this doesn't fix it, looks like I'll be replacing the entire LIM. :(

Oh yeah forgot about cleaning it out. In the mazda diagram it tells you to put a shop rag on a screwdriver and clean it. I find that kinda hard
