Squeaky clutch pedal
what the heck... I don't drive my car for a few days and the damn clutch pedal starts squeaking, i can feel it through my leg when i clutch... ugh :banghead:. If someone could tell me how to get to it, or possibly why it is squeaking, I'd really appreciate it!

it is sqeaking right where the joint is above your foot. i took mine to the dealer for this problem and they greased it and i havent heard a sqeak yet..if you have warrenty take it in and make them do it. if you dont then get some lube and lube that joint up and press the pedal in and out till the squeak goes away.

this is so peculiar- i have an 84 camaro thats beat to hell- never ever heard a peep out of the cluch pedal lol funny how that works- thanks!

depending on year and mileage it might be a sign of the pedal getting ready to fail..

Crawl up under the dash and with a flashlight check the clutch pedal bracket bolted to the firewall for cracks. Fairly common problem that can cause squeeking.

Like Go48 mentioned... check for cracks.
Commonly on the upper-left side of the pedal just above the mounting bolts. Here is a pic of a local 8's pedal that was showing signs of metal fatigue: |
