Parked the car last nite no problems. Tried to start in the morning, only heard a small click then the security lite began to flash rapidly. Several more tries no good. Disconnected the battery, reconnected same thing. Is there any thing I can do other than you know the dealer.

 

Lets start with the basics...
Did you check voltage at the battery?
You might have enough voltage to power some lights, but nothing major like the ignition or starter.

 

13.8 volts

 

Have you tried your spare key?

 

If the security light is flashing while trying to start it's because it doesn't recognize the key that you are using. As Jon stated I would try your spare keys and see if that does the trick. If the immobilizer lost the key programming the dealership will need to reprogram it.

 

You blew a fuse in the engine fuse box...I know from first hand experience. Check all the fuses but take a close look at the ENG fuse under the hood, it's most likely your culprit.

 

None of the above Kinda except the fuse was kinda close, I hooked up a program from my laptop to the OBDII It told me no PCM input. So I could not run a diagnostic. Located the computer PCM . Found a loose connector. Strange though the connector will not lock in place, looks as though it will not lock in place . A drop of silicone to hold it in place. Back in business. Thanks every one for the suggestions.

Aah i have the sma problem and my car was working perfect and when i was tried to start in morning the security light was flashing!

I have check out the battery and it was okey and all fuses next to battery and inside the car and they are all perfect.

Also i have another key , but the same security light still flashing with that key.

what i should try to next?

please can you someone send me a pm and help me out of this

 

My eight is working perfect now it was the battery!
