rx8 steering wheel issue, did the mechanic broke it?
 

hi, all i need some urgent advise

I sent my rx8 for repair at the dealership, they said needed to replace the water pump and crankshaft seal.

I had those replaced & paid; and when i was about to drive my car out of the dealership, my steering could not steer to the right side.

I had to drive the car back, after 3-4 days of diagnostics; now they tell me my steering rack needs replacement.

Question is, it was all working well before i sent in for water pump&seal replacement. Did the mechanic somehow broke my steering~? flood the engine, misfire battery that affected the steering wheel motor or anything related?

Appreciate any advise
