rpm loss/hesitation over 7000
I've been reading rpm loss hesitation threads for a couple hours and can't find one that sounds exactly the same as mine. I left work after warming up the car for a while got on the road and shifted into 2nd once it hit about 8500 rpm it cut all my power and jerked me forward in my seat. Once I got onto the country roads again I went wot on my way to 3rd gear and it cut again. I pushed in the clutch and just revved once it hit 7500 it cut the power and dropped all the way once I let the clutch back out it bump started. I did a few more pulls wot with the cut out getting worse until it was about 6000 rpm when it would lose all power. I got home waited for the car to cool down and removed my cat to put on my catless midpipe. Took the car down the road got it warmed up again turned around and wot was a lot better but now it hesitates over 8000 up to 10000 almost like sputtering rpms. The car is an 06 gt 6 speed with 33000 kms I put on bhr coils with new plugs and wires about 8000 kms ago. I have a Cobb tuner with just a stock tune with adjusted dwell settings and the o2 sensor cel disabled. During my drives the cel never came on and I have no stored codes. The stock cat still has the honeycomb intact after I removed it. The closest thing I read it could be in a bad fuel pump does that sound right.
