Refrigerant Pressure switch
Can someone look under their hood and tell me where the "refrigerant Pressure switch" leads to on the wiring harness? It is located on the passenger side of the radiator and should be a black plug right next to the High port for your A/C lines.
I can't seem to find it on my wiring harness so I don't know if it is cut off or what. Any help is appreciated. This is in a beetle so please don't tell me to look under my hood, Thanks |
Also can you verify the wire colors? The wiring Diagram shows it to be Red/White, Red/Black, Light Green/Black, and Black.
I have found something cut off that is close to where this plug should be but the wires are Blue/White, Black/Blue, Black/Yellow, and Black Thanks |
Anyone?
Trying to get the A/C hooked up ASAP as I am moving to CA from FL on Thursday and it looks like there is going to be a heat wave along the entire path of the trip! |

It's like it has vanished! I can't seem to find it anywhere! when pulled off the doner car the wiring harness was intact so it SHOULD be somewhere. That is why I was asking if someone could see where it leads to. I know it is close to the coolant level plug when installed in the RX8 but when removed and the wiring harness is moved around it doesn't seem to be close to it unless it has the color coded wires that I said above were cut on mine.:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::bang head: |

FOUND IT!!!
it only took me all day and had to take my car half apart to do it! Thanks for the help. Mazda decided to have two plugs exactly the same with the same color coded wires so I wasn't looking at the low coolant plug. It was hiding way under the fuel tank and didn't see it until I unbolted the tank. |
