Red Fluid on Calipers

There are red, almost jelly-like, spots of fluid on my calipers. Any ideas on what this could be? Brake fluid, transmission fluid, steering fluid? I can take a picture if needed.

It is not a lot, and there are no spots on the ground where it is parked - just on the calipers.

I have an '05 RX-8, AT.

Electric steering, so no power steering fluid. ;)

Have you investigated your outer tie rods, and ball joints?

I have not :) Only had the car for 1 week so far. What would I be looking for?

Thanks for the reply

Tears in the rubber on the bushings, your going to have to take the tires off to see.. Below is a generic pic of a busted ball joint.

Here is a shot of my car, and where to check, sorry it's the best one I have on hand.
