ok,

it has been a long time.. now that you are making me think about it.. damn you. i think the test for the radio software is there.

i am thinking it was the odo push / key position trick.. but really. all the rules changed after the r flash.. that is for the 04 and 05.

the radio button reset is only for audio related DTC's, there's a whole sub-test system for the audio system.

there's tons of different memory resets, one for almost every module on the chain. only the NVRAM and KAM are engine related, other then PCM regular memory etc.

When people say reset your ECU memory they're generally speaking of KAM and the PCM's regular memory. NVRAM only needs to be reset in rare situations.

Did some work on the interior, so I decided to pull the 15 amp interior fuse, to turn off door and mirror puddle lights in my 09.

Forgot to replace it, started the car, tacho needle swept clockwise and got a CEL light..my first ever!

Stopped engine, put back fuse, had to reset, radio, clock, 6 stacker CD, trip meters reset to Zero.

So it appears I have also reset/cleared my KAM?..correct?

Yep, the 15 AMP (Blue) interior fuse (the bottom one), they are on the passenger side (LH) foot well of my RHD 8.

was it the room fuse? you may have reset KAM, but either way it doesnt really matter. Fuse was probably the only voltage supply to something, PCM saw no power was getting to it and sent out a low signal code.

Sorry Kevin for the very late reply, you know sometimes even when you are "subscribed" to a thread you don't get email notifications!..

But yes, I pulled the room fuse (15Amp), was left out over night.
Started car and got the Tacho Sweep and CEL. Trip meters also ZEROED.
I am pretty sure I had to reset Radio, not sure if I needed to?..I don't use it much I like to 'hear my' Rotary!.

SO I guess I cleared the KAM with the fuse pull, but I did not have to do any other resets....and I did not push the brake pedal..

I have the 09 Model.

we have so many resources that apparently so few techs utilize.

Oh Jeez would I like to have that capability! Sweet!

Your dealer would have disconnected your battery when replacing engine so a reset would have occurred.

What about since I replaced the BHR Coils? Car is running fine but the following codes keep returning and I keep cleaning them with my Scangauge II.

P2259
P2270
P2096

I'm pretty sure they are related to my rear o2 because of the Catless Mid Pipe.

P2096 Target A/F feedback system too lean
P2259 AIR solenoid valve control circuit low
P2270 HO2S signal stuck lean

Sorry can't help on the fix, this is what the codes say is wrong or in error, must be due to catless mid pipe?
