Problems with wheel hub replacement

I'm having a serious problem getting the front driver's side wheel hub off. I've been able to get the brake rotor off and the four bolts out of the back... however the hub itself will not come out. Just wondering if it's stuck, or if there's something I'm missing. Thanks.

if you are replacing it like i did just use a hammer and a big punch but be careful not to hit your fender. they are in there pretty tight. i had to work both sides of the hub turning the wheel full lock to lock several times. you are right tho its just held in place by the four bolts. when you put the new one in remove any rust or crap with a wire brush first and draw the new hub in evenly with the four bolts. hope this helps

i am in the same boat. I'm banging away and nothing is working. I tried pulling it with the wheel on. I got a punch behind it wear the sensor meets the hub. and i tried banging on the part where the studs are. No luck. Any idea would be greatly appreciated. also lubbed it up as best i could with wd40

put the bolt back in, til finger tight, then back out about 5 tread and hit the bolt with a punch. work around the bolts in a cross patten.

won't that strip the threads on the bolt?

If you only have a few thread, it will strip, but if you have 6 thread or more it will not strip.
