P2096 after 1 hour of driving
 

I've seen many post on the p2096 powertrain post catalyst trim system too lean bank 1 but no one seems to mentioned how the car was driving when the cell appeared . now for me most of my journey's are in the 30-40 min bracket with the odd 1 hour traveling to the airport but I don't seen to have a problem only if I hit heavy traffic were I spend a lot of time shifting through 1 to 3 on the gears then the car starts to feel less responsive then the cell comes . would be interested if anyone else has this issue and if they found the solution . plus once the car has cooled I've reset the cell and everything runs good again for weeks until I end up being stuck in heavy traffic again .

If you need me to re-type what I posted in that thread, I guess i can. You need a new rear O2 sensor. Sure, the conditions aren't identical, but it doesn't change the fact that it's still a failing rear O2 sensor.

Thanks just read your post very interesting I take it you redid the test after you replaced O2 sensor and had positive result on the retest

I wasn't the one with the problem, but presumably yes, it passed after he replaced it.
