P0443 Purge solenoid valve circuit problem
My “check engine” light is on so I read the error and it showed me:
P0443 Purge solenoid valve circuit problem And only this – it was deleted but it came back after couple of days. Could you advise please? |

Sorry, I’m not quite clear about this. Could you tell me what is it, how to fix it and how much this will cost?

Uuuuuugh
I should have never posted here, I was drunk. Serves me right for drunk posting. I'm hung over but in a good mood. So I'm nicely saying you could have figured this out yourself. Well I need to believe you could have. Most likely cause is the Gas cap, either buy a new one or make sure its on tight. http://www.google.ca/search?q=site%3Arx8club.com+P0443&oq=site%3Arx8club.com+P0443&sugexp=chrome,mod=0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 p0443 - RX8Club.com - Threads Tagged with p0443 https://www.rx8club.com/tech-garage-...n-guide-26291/ https://www.rx8club.com/trouble-shoo...anyone-237722/ OBD-II Trouble Code: P0443 Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit https://www.rx8club.com/trouble-shoo...roblem-234241/ |
Thanks,
I’ve found this: http://www.justanswer.com/mazda/5njc7-rx-gt-2006-last-month-evap-code-came-gas-cap-intermittent.html So it looks there are many possible reasons. Main question is, if I can drive or should I fix it as soon as possible? Is it dangerous for my car to use it with this error? |
What year is your car?

The engine is still a Series I model. Likely a Reman. And don't even try to say they put a series II engine in your car .. because they didn't. Search the forum and you'll find out why Ok ... I checked that link out you posted ... that dude is ummm wrong and right and its for a 2006 RX8 which had new polution crap installed after our 2004-2005 models Have a look at this link http://foxed.ca/rx7manual/2003mazdar..._S01_0230.html See third hyper link BTW that web site is AWESOME for all RX stuff!!! |
Here is the Series II engine in a Series I Rx8
Done by Ash8 .. not a person to be trifled with ;) https://www.rx8club.com/series-ii-te...n-done-222458/ OH and to answer your earlier question "is it dangerous to drive?" No .. its fine but you should get it fixed |
Thank you WCS

You're welcome
Good luck If you're inclined ... a visual inspection may reveal a disconnected hose |
