Oil leak from the engine

I got oil leaking from the engine while it is turned on. Don't know what it is, i got picture for your guys to take a look at down below. The car sounds pretty bad when i turn it on now. Growling a lot and missfires like hell. The thing i am worrying about is the leakage, can anyone give me some information on what to do?

Car has around 55k miles on it its a manual 238hp 2004 model, never had any major issues until now.

If the oil leak is not from the pan or the oil lines, but from the block itself then it's bad news. You need to pinpoint that leak.

So after some time of wiping oil and searching for the leak we found out that it is leaking from crank pullies..

Here is a photo of the thing that i am talking about. The photo is not mine, i am just using it to show where the oil coming out of.

So how screwed am i?

slvrstreak 06-29-2012 08:05 AM

in the meantime keep your RPMs low
I've never replaced one personally but, I believe you just take off the pulley and its right there
but beware the thrush bearing right behind it
quick search led to this thread...might provide further light :)
