P0171 after new radiator

'04 6spd w/66K miles

P0171(system too lean) manifested itself after I installed my new OEM radiator. I'm positive all the vacuum lines are connected. There are just 3 right? Perhaps my MAF is fouled?

I checked my AFR's and at idle it's around 14.7 and at WOT it's at 11.0? Doesn't seem lean to me.

I cleared the code and after a few drive cycles i'll see if it pops up again.

Willing to show my log if that will help.

Check the vac line that goes to the VFAD, it comes off the bottom of the intake manifold just behind the throttle and it goes though a check valve then a solenoid and finally under the airbox to the VFAD. It's the easiest to disconnect and forget if you are changing things.

Like Harlan I would think that was likely...they had to remove the intake to do the radiator

An easy way to tell would be to plug the VFAD nipple on the intake end and see if it solves the problem...that way you don't have to pull the intake to look under it

It could be a leaking line as well if they nicked or pinched it

LTFT and maf g/s are totally messed up. Gonna reset the trims and check the line tomorrow. Thank you for the input guise.

EDIT : All the vacuum lines were fine and dandy. Brake stomp returned everything back to normal.

Code came back as a solid CEL. The vac line is secured to the VFAD nipple. Maybe I should cap it instead?
