OMP Lines - Is there a check valve or should they flow freely?

So I have another thread about removing and cleaning my oil nozzles. Looks like they are ok. I removed the lines too and looks like the lines are all clogged.

I tried blowing through them and nada. Should they flow freely in either direction? I don't see why not.

I was able to stick a thin wire in the end where they connect to the OMP but the other side that goes to the injectors, the wire goes in the banjo bolt up to certain point and no furter ... feels like metal so I didn't push it. Is there a check valve in the banjo (not the bolt, the loop thing that goes arond the banjo bolt)

The check valve is in the oil injector. The opening in the line itself is pretty small so it is difficult to blow though.

Yes I knew that but what about the banjos?
I was able to stick in a fairly good size wire without any resistance from the side that connects to the OMP. The other side I get to a certain point and feel metal, so the wire can't go all the way through. If they are not clogged, the line is pretty wide. I shouldn't have any problems getting even a small amount of air through.

I tested with the other end submerged in water. Not even a bubble!
I guess I will soak them in degreeser while I check out the prices at the local dealer.

Ir is correct. I would blow brake cleaner in them from the pump side to clean it out.

Yeah that's what I plan on doing. Wasn't sure if brake or carb cleaner would be safe, but then again I have nothing to loose. I didn't have any carb cleaner last night, just brake cleaner and from what I've read carb cleaner is a little less harsh, especially on rubber parts.

Will try tonight and let you guys know how it goes. Otherwise ... $200-300 down the drain

Carb/brake cleaner is fine.
