noise when clutch pedal is out

Hi all. As told in my previous thread, I just had a new clutch put in. Before I got it swapped out, there was a constant *squea squeak squeak* during idle that went away when the clutch pedal was pushed in. Throwout or pilot bearing right? New ones were installed along with the new clutch. Today after 50 miles, the noise is coming back.

I went back to the mechanic shop and was told "sometimes those bearings need to break in, especially when its cold. Drive it around for a couple more days and if its still there bring it back"

Is this BS? Also would the wrong kind of transmission fluid potentially cause this?

Thanks in advance.

Like he said drive it a couple of days and then bring it back.

trans fluid would have nothing to do with your problem. t/o bearings tend to make a tiny bit of a whine. how loud is it? my t/o bearing makes noise in my 05 with 30K. its going in for a replacement.
