Try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes, and then try it.
Of course you know that once you do this, you will have to reset the DCS/TCS right? I'd also try doing some "advanced searches" on here and see what pops up. Since everything else works, I'd be tempted to say that it's a loose connection to that display, but try the battery anyway. Oh.......BTW......have you dicked with it in any manner what-so-ever? Is your audio totally stock? |
the audio is stock. it work fine all day, the only thing i did was i wiped the bottons with a dry cloth while it was off.
i check all the audio fuses and they are all fine. i dont know how to reset the DCS/TCS. sorry i'm new to the 8. |

i dont know how to reset the DCS/TCS. sorry i'm new to the 8. Before someone says; "Search, Noob", after you re-connect the battery, turn the ignition on, then turn the steering wheel full-lock left, then right..... See HERE for what the owner's Manual says. |
I had my sun visor break and the wires within the sun visor crossed and shorted out a couple fuses in the car, one of them leaving my radio display black.
|
Well.......that's a new one! :banghead:

I guess I would say....don't be too surprised if it comes back, but hopefully it's gone for good. |
