Need Help! RX8 died on me!

Well even though I love my car more than anything I've had my first major issue with my 8 (the only problem besides this is a headlight going out lol). I was on my way home last night when I hit 6k rpm when my car lost all power and shut off.
I immediately tried to crank it and it turned on but with a severe loss of power, the car would not go above 30 mph and then sputtered and died. I was luckily 2 mins away from my house and was able to coast into my driveway where it still sits. I spent today taking off my Turbo XS race pipe and cat back and have arranged for Mazda Roadside Assistance to pick the car up tomorrow.
I take great care of my 8 (I'm not saying that I don't get on it every once in a while) but I mean I use nothing but 93 octane and oil changes every 3-5 thousand miles as well as topping it off whenever needed. I have searched through the forum but it seems to be a very broad subject when it comes to the car just losing power and dying.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, Thank You

Chris

The 30 mph thing means it went into limp mode- sounds like some kind of important sensor died, or the intake boot sprang a big leak. The dealership will be able to pull the codes and fix it pretty quick.

Thanks for help, the car is going into the dealership today but I left the Mazdaspeed CAI on, does anyone think that the dealership will give me a hard time for that?

Well my car is still sitting in my driveway after Mazda's Roadside assistance has said that the tow truck is on its way (they've been calling and saying that for the past 5 hours) and now they just called and said that they will pick it up tomorrow morning. So I'm not very happy right now, but there is not much I can do.
