is it my clutch bracket?!?!?
so i turn my car on drive it for abit and then im stopped somewhere and my car is idling, i start hearing squeaking noise. i accelerate a bit and the squeak speeds up with it. when i put the cluth in the squeaking stops but as soon as the clutch is back out the squeaking starts again.

The clutch bracket squeak doesn't depend on speed or RPM, it just squeaks when you push it in, and squeaks when you let it out, regardless of anything else going on.
I'd say this might be connected to your throwout bearing, but I don't know enough about it to be sure. |
well i got brand new engine with about 2k or some miles on it runs fine no problems, its just a squeaking sound when im idle just sitting there doing thing and as soon as i put the clutch in it stops and when i let the clutch go it starts back up again

thats most likely your throw-out bearing from your clutch... its nothing to worry about mine has been doing it for most of its life and i have no problems. its just something you have to deal with unless you want to just replace the clutch

well when i got my new engine i also got a new clutch installed as well

I have the same probelm. My 2005 RX-8 GT squeaks whenever the clutch is out, driving or idling (stays the same regardless of speed). As soon as the clutch is depressed the squeaking stops immediately. It's so annoying, has anyone fixed this?
