Lower Control Arm Problem - Picture Attached
1 Attachment(s)
I have a 2004 RX8, 6spd manual. I removed the brake caliper and removed the upper control arm (leaving the rotor attached to the lower control arm supported by the lower boot). The lower boot then separated itself (see the picture). I did this procedure on the other side (while removing the stock struts) and it went fine.
My question is, can the separated boot (not sure of its correct name) be put back together and function normally? If yes, how would I go about doing that? Or do I have to buy a new lower control arm (which I am hoping I don't)? |
Not sure if this helps. Is this the part you are looking at?
