looking for MAF o ring

My o ring is bad and trying to source a new one. I have tried the auto parts store and either the thickness was too thick or two slim and leaked upon a boost leak test. Trying to avoid the dealer because they never seem to have much in stock. I know the Denso MAF is used on quite a few cars. A few searches have yeilded nothing but flanges or the whole Sensor itself.

I felt what 7-8 psi was like yesterday and need to get this fixed so I can continue and hopefully not have a ton of stuff out of wack from the boost leak.

Just go buy a pack of variety o ring gaskets from homedepot silly, $2. In the pluming/sink section.

I've done a varity pack twice all seem to be too thick or two thin. Both ways fair on a leak test

FWIW, it is a 28mm x 2mm ring IIRC

Mazmart 08-15-2012 08:58 AM

I can do this at $8.25 plus US postage if you desire.

Edit: Oops, I did not realize that Paimon had one for sale.

Paul.

I went direct through pauls Mazda dealer for it, actually ordered 2. Thanks guys I even tried Toyota,Mazda, and Subaru dealers local to try and get one. Seems a lot of cars use the same Denso maf

These have worked for me:

McMaster-Carr
MIL-Spec Fluorosilicone O-Ring AS568A Dash Number 024
$6.75 for a pack of 5

bumblebeerx8 08-15-2012 07:59 PM

those look like they may work in case others need them. 2mm is too big and 1mm is too small i have tried both with no luck sealing. I already placed a order with mcmastercarr yesterday and a order for o rings through Mazda today. Thanks guys for the help.
