LED issues, anyone else experience this?
Alright so I installed my LED taillights, turn signal, and reverse bulbs. I got the kit from Rotary FX, which came with the load resisters for the turn signals.
The problem I'm having is as soon as I turn my lights on my Traction Control and ABS light come on. I read a few threads that people were having the same problem but its the 3rd brake light they replaced that was giving them problems. I did not replace my 3rd brake light. Is it possible I installed the resisters wrong? It only looks like they can be installed one way. 1 wire on the ground and 1 on the positive. The load resisters are burning hot to the touch so I assume they are doing there job. Any insight would be great. Thanks. |
Is it possible there could be an LED in the 3rd brake light without you knowing?

I never changed it out. I had the car for two years and never had this problem.
It happened as soon as I installed my LEDs for my tailights. |
We have an owner down here that the same thing happened to him, we looked in his 3rd brake light and there was a big ole' LED sitting in there, that's why I ask
Do the lights turn on when you turn on the hazards? |
That's weird. I'll double check, maybe someone did it when I was sleeping! lol
It doesn't happen when I turn the hazards on. Only if I turn my lights on. This is so weird. How is the Traction Control and ABS even connected to the damn tailights!! haha |
