Keyless Entry/Smart Card Button Help!!
Hello!
I am a first time rx-8 owner. I bought a '07 GT with 30000 on it. It is missing the rubber button that sits in the driver side door handle that works with the smart card to unlock the door. I have found the part number, but I was curious how hard it is to replace just the button or if any special tools are needed to take the door/handle apart.
This is the last thing to make it perfect.. just put in new spark plugs.

This should actually be covered under warranty, if it is broken off or missing. I would contact the dealer before ordering the part and see if they will fix it for you. You know the warranty is transferrable, right?
