It's the battery right?
 

Ok so had some body work done on my 04 rx8 they had it for a week. The car has been having some rough starts due to some sensor that needs replacing but it always starts it just takes longer to crank over.

So I get a call yesterday saying it's all done, so I didn't make it til today and I just got the paperwork and the key til I could get a ride over there to pick it up. So I get in the car turn the key to ON and all looks normal but it's not cranking over or trying to at all. Just the click noise when the key is turned to attempt a start.

So I figure the batter is dead cause I try to pop the trunk from the inside and no go, then try the windows, nothing. So nothing power works, not even the interior lights.

I get some jumper cables and try to give it a jump, nothing. So I leave them on there for about 5 min and no change at all. Can't even use the power locks. All the lights on the dash appear to be lit up and the battery is about 6 months old.

So I guess next step would be to pull the battery to get it tested? Is it possible for a battery to not even get enough juice to even roll down the windows after a jump?

Could the body shop have done somehtin to prevent it from starting?

Boost it...and it will probably start. If they killed it too bad and it's a few years old...it might need to be replaced

If boost means jump start I aleady did that
