Interior lights flickering
 

Hi all -

I have a strange issue, and am wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing. After driving the car, i park, and shut the motor off, leaving the key in the "ACC" position. the radio is still powered and playing music, but doors closed, all lights off, etc.

after few minutes of this, the map, dome, lower door, and maybe more lights will flicker rapidly. i can hear the clicking of solenoids/relays. the flickering will last about 1 second, then stop.

I have only noticed this after driving the car and then immediately going to "ACC" position. If i begin with the key out, inserting, and turning to "ACC" without starting the engine, the issue will not show up.

it is a small annoying really, not a big issue. anyone have any insight they'd like to share?

my first thought is the ignition switch...the electrical part not the lock cylinder

Bringing this tread back alive.

I have this issue with interior lights flickering and i can hear something
clicking below the glove compartment.
It happened twice. First time i thought it was just a fluke
but the second one happened while i was driving at night.
Suddenly all the interior lights just started flickering.
The car seems to run ok. Just the annoying lights.
Any ideas.

Oh BTW the car is an 07 model with only 3400 miles

I have a similar issue with my radio lights flickeing on occasion. It usually only happens when I hit a bump in the road so Im sure its something loose.
