Injector problems

I replaced the lower intake manifold on my 2004 rx8
But unfortunately i lost the fuel injectors i put them back like i thought they were at the beggining but when i start te car it hesistates alot, dies on me and takes a shit lot gas lol, is there a way to find out how they go the right way

2 red in ports on center iron.....4 yellows in the intake manifold

sergio_77 06-10-2012 06:08 PM

the yellow ones, do they have a specific order?

ShellDude 06-10-2012 06:12 PM

they don't but the harness connectors do... if you crisscrossed the wires you could have a P1 firing on the front rotor with a P2 firing on the back rotor and vice-versa.... would definitely screw up staging....

thats whats going on with my car, how can i fix them?

sergio_77 06-10-2012 06:24 PM

how can i figure out the wiring?

ShellDude 06-10-2012 06:25 PM

i believe there is a diagram in the repair manual

sergio_77 06-10-2012 06:34 PM

dude.. you really should learn how to search...

Here's a picture of the repair manual:

You can read the "actual" manual online here: http://foxed.ca/index.php?page=rx7manual#rx8

Please invest in some search skills though... you're gonna generate some heat over this.

I didn't take the time to locate the actual diagram, but am pretty sure there is one there. Had someone I know pull the hardcopy of the manual off the shelf yesterday for a very similar issue.

just switch the connectors around and see if it solves the problem. DUH
