I think my fuel pump just took a dump...
 

All power above 5k Rpms and +50% throttle = :icon_tdow:icon_no2:

It will climb all the way to redline on light throttle but the afs start going up around 6krpms.
If I "floor it" in 3rd gear it pulls good to about 5-6k then hits a wall and afs goes to +20.

No other issues. No codes.

107k odo, 60k engine
15k on plugs
15k on BHR ignition
5k on air filter
No Cat
93* fuel w/ premix (as always)



It's the fuel pump right??

Started happening right when I hit the 1/2 mark on the fuel gauge.


Oh and let me make it aware now... About two weeks ago I drove it to below "E", didn't mean to, I usually fill up at 1/4 mark but forgot somehow... (I am aware this could have killed it)

Hmmmmm.....sounds like a fueling issue. I do know that letting your tank get empty will increase the risk of overheating the pump since it uses the fuel for cooling.

If you have fuel starvation, I think there is usually a CEL that comes on, or at least blinks temporarily.

Well I never got gas yet. Took her to work this morning and gave her the run of her life.

She ran perfect.... I even managed to peg her in 4th gear, and afs stayed at 12.0..
