I know how you feel, One of my screens tore, Here's how it went down. I brought my car in and told them my car died one time at a light, so they inspected my car they found nothing. So i was like whatever and went home, couple days later, I opened my hood and look around, I said what if the Air filter is clogged with feathers and stuff. So i checked and found bird feathers and i looked closely and saw one of my screens tore, so i was like, that can't be good, so i took it into the dealership and told them i found out that my screen is tore. I poped the hood and open up the intake and they said "I need to call the Head Manager" i said ok. they called him and come back and said. Theirs two solutions #1 We can goto Home Depot and buy a window screen for houses and cut a piece out for your intake. I said Hell NO! i want this under warrenty and OEM parts! they Said "We can get you another intake assembly but you have to pay for it" I said why? They said " The Head Manager said why would a kid go open a intake and check it" I said Maybe Beacuse It's My FU*king car! I can do whatever the hell i want!!! Then they said Well sorry we can't warrenty this Part for you. I told them it's not a wear and tear item. Why shouldnt it be? they said cause the Manager doesnt want to warrenty it because you tampered the screen. I said i didnt!!! So i said fuck you guys! im gonna go buy a MS Intake instead of paying $450 for an OEM one. Im gonna write to Mazda North and give them a bad review for poor customer service. :Eyecrazy:

Well then I may have to go get a dyno this week. I mean I have no cels and the car runs as smooth as ever and it pulls hard from 4k to redline. I noticed before that I had rough spots through the powerband it seems that has smoothed out.

I mean dont our cars run rich as hell anyway, so why not have more air ramming into that bad boy. Its breathing much better...
