How Do You Get Silver Piece Out of Fog Light

3 Attachment(s)
I need a little help on getting the piece of metal out of the fog light. I bought new h11 bulbs from vled and they are to long. I was told to smash it in then it will fit through the hole but I have no such luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. One is perfect where as the other looks like this.

Take a Flat Head screw driver... stick it in the back side of the fog light (apparently talking about fog lights is sexual) and bend the silver piece back and forth... eventually it will snap off and than you need to use needle nose pliers to bend and pull the piece out its not easy to get out youll have to work at it... Good luck!

Edit: Just noticed you already snapped it off now just work at it with some pliers

Did you scratch up the inside at all when you did it?

install light force 210's on the front and call em fog lights, just a little bit of drilling and bam you can blind even the darkest of tinted rear windows.

No scratches. Should be easy to remove, just squeeze it with a needle-nose and then work it out.

Why would you want to do that?

I finally got the piece out using very precise movements with needle nose pliers. Lets just say I don't want to do that again. I also scratched the inside pretty good with my first attempt. On my second it went alot more smoothly when I used my Dremel to cut the piece of rather then bending it back and forth.

for the same reason my bike has a flashing brake light and wig wags on it. So they know your coming. Lately it seems since cell phones took over brains people stopped driving, and starting become free way land mines.
