Horn Gone Bad???

I searched the threads and found out that Heat may be the cause, but its never been the problem before....

long story short, alarm went off... couldn't find the fob in time...

...so the alarm cut off its self...

when i go to lock the car (double click the lock button on FOB) the horn sound flat/weak...

Using the FOB and steering activates the horn, so in other words everything works OK but my problem lies with the tone and volume of the horn...

yea i know as long at the horn works i should be fine, but im a little anal when it comes to the fine details especially if i know it was working perfect before the incident.

how long does it last for you before it goes back to normal?

Inspect horn connections for corrosion. Otherwise you should be able to find a salvage horn pretty cheap if the horn itself is shot.
