High pitch whine/grind no start
 

I have not moved my car in three days and went out to move it today and it will not start I popped the hood and threw on a jumper but that is not the issue there is a high pitch whine with a little grind coming from the box mounted next to the right front strut tower does anyone know what this is? :wallbash:

by right front do you mean passenger front (Left Hand Drive)?

Sounds like the air pump... they are known to produce a high pitch whine.

Were you able to get it started? if so what is the problem. I just came back from vacation for the ironically a 3 day period and now mine won't start.
