Help With MAF O Ring

Yeah, brake spray will clean it up.
Lift straight up, don't damage the little "o" ring around the edge. The brown bulb you see is NOT the MAF, just the temp sensor - spray up into the plastic body, the tiny wires up there are the actual air flow sensor, only a tiny proportion of the air goes over it, and the computer works out the flow. S So should I put it back? or get a new one? If I need a new one where can I get one? What happends if I dont replace it? are you talking about the O ring that seals the MAF to the Tube ?
if yes then, just replace it with a new one, its there to seal dirt from going into the intake (vacuum leak) Is this the one u talking about ? if yes. the part number is ZL01-13-214, its not a cheap part consider its just a god damn rubber ring, but u gotta pay to play :lol: https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1235662920 |

no need to get a genuine Mazda one - any place that sells o rings should have something that will fit ....
