HELP! engine stuck at idle after flooding
 

i hadn't driven my '04 rx8 in a few months and came out to the garage to see that the battery was dead. after jumping, it took a while to start so i went through with the deflooding procedures of taking out the fuel injector fuse and letting the engine clear. after the engine started, the CEL light stayed on and as much as i press the accelerator, the rpms wont go over 2000. Any thoughts on what is wrong? it shuts down and starts up just fine now, but it still wont let me give it any gas. it seems as though the computer is restricting the throttle maybe? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Turn the key to the on position and press the brake peddle 20 times until the oil gauges sweeps right to left!
If that doesn't work disconect the battery for 5-10 min U should b ok
