help!!

ok, i took my car in to get the inspection done and a few things went wrong. 1st, my check engine light is apparently disabled from the previous owner. not sure why but probably because of the turbo throwing codes. plus 2 trouble codes came up: P0300 randomn/multiple cylinder misfire detected, and P0125 Insufficient coolant timeperature for closed loop fuel control. i know these have been brought up before but i couldnt find if they were ever resolved before. i have to pass inspection in 8 days. thanks for any help. :fingersx:

Did you buy your car from an individual or dealer? If a dealer, they should be responsible for fixing those issues especially if it were caused by a previous owner. If an individual, well good luck. As far as trouble codes, those could have been stored since the last time the ECU was cleared. Try clearing them then drive it a while and see if the pop up again. If you get the codes again there is definately something wrong.

he has a turbo- misfire because the tuning sucks and he has fouled plugs and insufficient coolant temp because the greddy emanage tricks the engine into thinking it has never warmed up properly so it stays in open loop. they do it to keep more control over fueling.

spend some time reading the thread about greddy turbo fixes in the "major HP" section

Misread that, thought he meant it had a turbo at one time.

Since the Tech inspection looks for OBDII compliance I.E. compliant PCM and no stored codes. The way I see it the only way you are gonna get past the inspection is to clear the codes one (1) drive cycle prior to them hooking to it. The mis-fire issue may still nail you since it is a constant monitor.
