Check the fuse (No. 14 engine bay; 20A "Seat Warmer") and also pull off the console top and check the switch connectivity. Also check that the harness under the seat is properly connected. Yunno, the typical stuff.

You have to have the heat on for them to work

Pretty sure thats not true.

Power windows wont work any help please? Check fuse is ok what can be the switch?

Huey52 07-26-2010 11:17 AM

I'm sure that's not true. In my 2005 I need not have the heat on for the seat warmers to work. They're discrete systems.

Power windows also check the fuse and switches, but it could be the motor or the scissor frame as well. For the latter you would have to pull the door interior "card" and check to see if the motor is viable and if the scissor bracket is properly attached and functional.

Note - fuses generally open for a reason (e.g. a motor or circuit short), so simply replacing one may not solve your problem.
