getting rid of p0139

i have a gutted cat and i tried reseting the ecu (cobb ap) but it keeps popping up every couple of days. Any way to get rid of the code permanently? is there something i can do to fool the ecu?

You should be able to block it within the AP. If you have a locked flash from someone else, have them block it. If you don't have a locked flash, download the tuning software and block it yourself.

Fortunately you already have the costly part of the processing: getting the AP

ok thanks. I dont have any software with the ap or any maps/tunes. I was eventually going to have MM do the tuning but not now. Any way to block the code without the software?

P.S. The cobb ap was new when i recieved it with the car

Um, nope. That's like asking if there is any way to run your computer without an operating system.

If it's cost that you are worried about... clicky: COBB Tuning - Mazda AccessTUNER Race
