Hi, i have a 04 rx8 with a 6 speed..and about 6 months ago i had the transmisson flushed and the differential fluids changes and ever since then the car makes a funky smell espically when i get on it..The car has 51,000 miles on it..any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated...anyone on here from the louisville ky area....

 

yep its the transmission fluid smell.
check under the shifter boot if theres over spill and check the rubber boot if its broken.

 

Thanks for the response Yeah my rubber shift boot is torn in one spot..How do you like the r3 i want one so bad and that same color as yours..
