front shocks - fluid leak??? I thought they were gas?

I've been getting a clunk up front for the past couple days. It doesn't seem to be fixing itself (joking).

It's in the pass front wheel. It's not the sway bar link as per one of the TSB's.

But upon checking to see what it is, there is a fluid covering my shock, control arms and sway bar and links... It seems to be coming from the shock absorber under the spring perch. I wipe away the fluid drips and it comes back!

So I know these are 'gas filled shocks' but do they still have some sort of fluid in them?

It doesn't seem to be from my brake lines as there is not any fluid on the lines, my levels are fine and pedal is strong...

Is it really the 'gas filled shock' leaking fluid??

Thanks in advance.
Shawn

Our shocks have fluids in them. It has a nitrogen gas chamber sitting on top of the oil.

No problem. Supposedly, the stock shocks on this car have an issue with leaking after you put a decent amount of miles on it.
