A bit about my 8... 2005, 6spd 151400 miles on the original engine. AEM cai gutted cat on stock exhaust. this morning I had a flashing cel and loss of power (not limp mode) RPM's under 3k the engine vibrates.
Now I usually have to replace plugs and cables every year or so I did the plugs in November. could it just be time for new coils?

coils plugs and wires last 30k at most and i always change them all together. flashing cel=misfire

Just to finish off the thread I replaced the coils and that solved the issue. Normally I would replace all three coils plugs and wires but I replaced the plugs in November after a bad flood. I used a cheaper coil and installed standards. The car is my daily driver and needed the problem fixed immediately that's the only reason I didn't use OEM

advanced auto has lifetime coils fyi. just swap them every spring.
