engine installed/ no start

Hey guys, i got a 34,000 mile junkyard engine installed yesterday. The engine turns over fine but it will not start. It has fuel pressure up to the fuel rail, thats as far as i got into it before work. I am not familiar with rotarys so im not sure where to start. any common no-start problems i should know about?

thanks in advance!

Could be flooded, if its a 6-speed try pull starting it. Did you put in new plugs?

got some free time, i threw in plugs n it started. yay. the traction control got me worried, it was kicking on and off without slip actually happening. It drives good with with dsc off. small coolant leak under the reservior, maybe get time tonight for that. thanks for the help guys, got my first rotary car running.

just to mention...the driver side exaust is way hotter than the pass. Even after the engine is turned off there is still a lot of heat radiating off the exaust tip. dont know if this means anything to you guys.

Since the exhaust system is a single pipe all the way to the muffler unless there was physical damage to the exhaust I wouldn't concern myself with it.

oh ok. Got 1 more question. The tranny dipstick (automatic) has a T in it with a small rubber line about 10", i can't tell where it is suposed to go, can anybody tell me what this smaller line is for?
