Engine Coolant Indicator

Hi all,

Recently while driving on the road at about 90KMPH or more, the engine coolant indicator will light up. And the indicator will remain until my ride slows down from 90KMPH to about 40-50KMPH or when my ride comes to a complete stop.

And the indicator will light up sometimes when I drive past the bumpy road. After a while, the indicator will disappear.

What's wrong with my ride? Is it some sort of sensor problems?

I've checked my engine coolant level every day and the coolant is full and there's no sign of leakage underneath my ride.

I've also drove my ride to my garage and they did some pressure check on my engine coolant and they said everything is normal.

Thanks for all in advance~

8's have some problems with the coolant sensor going bad i believe there is a tsb for this if u search around the boards u will find it if u still are in bumper to bumper warranty just take it to the dealer and they should b able to fix it

Yup, and you can't just replace the sensor, it molded into the resovior tank, so you have to get the whole thing.
But.....if under warranty, it will be covered as has been said.

Yep. Had that problem a few months ago. Got it replaced and now it's fine.

actually add some coolant. its hard to see accurately in that bottle and you be surprised how a cup or so will keep the light off.
