Engine code P1688
 

Hey whats goin yall? I'm new to RX8 club, my buddy recently converted my RX-8 from auto to stick but my car is throwing out 2 codes fist is P1688 and the sconde is P1688 PD. These codes are making my engine boggle it starts and uns fine till i give it gass all the way. and when I tun it off and stat it back up it runs fine and Its killing me not knowing what these codes are. Can anyone help me will greatly appreciate it thanks!!!

P1688 Metering oil pump control circuit initial check problem ON 1

Cant help fix the problem, but this points to your OMP which would fit your problems

Thanks yall for the help. WE found the problem my MOP wasnt adjusted correctly and we adjusted it thanks!!!!! Cleared the code!!!
