My damn car didn't pass this morning. i know it was the guy doing it wrong. i got these codes
P0850
P0037
and Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) status : FAIL. My check engine light comes on if i turn the key to the on position without it being on, otherwise ofcourse my check engine light wouldn't just be on. anyone know what i should do or if theres just someway to fix this real quick.

You'll need the codes cleared out of memory before getting a retest done.

they dont care if your CEL is visible or not, they care about if there's malfunction codes. You may have codes stored that have not triggered the CEL yet.
