Emergency alarm won't shut off!! 04 RX-8

Hi there, I have an "04 rx8 I just got a month ago. It did not come with any key fobs. When I went to use the key to unlock the doors...like I have been doing from the get go. My alarm started to sound. I pulled the horn relay, when ever I open the door, turn the key on or pretty much do anything. It trips the alarm again. I have no way of getting any key fobs for a few days.My question.. Is there any fancy button or tricks I can do for the time being to shut the alarm off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!-Matt Buffalo N.Y

Do you have the shock sensor installed?

The key should work manually to turn off the alarm, that is how I do it everyday since I don't have a key FOB on my key ring. I hate having a key FOB on my keys, I like only having a couple of keys in my pocket.

Thanks for the replys guys. I finally stopped it by using my key to unlock the trunk. The minute I did that after it going on and off for 11 hours...it stopped just picked up a switch blade key for $30 and had it programmed by a guy at my shop for $25. Now time to fix this p2070 intake manifold tuning valve stuck open bank 1. Think I might just pull it out and clean it. But this motor was done 100% by Mazda in 11/11 less than 2,000 miles on it ATM. Wish there was an easier way *head scratching*

A guy at your shop programmed your key? Do you work at a dealer?

Mazda replaces the motor, the do not clean or do anything to the valves in the lower intake manifold. It is taken off the old motor and put on the re-manufactured motor.

No he owns his own programming business he makes and programs them with or with out original equipment. not sure what he does but it's all out from the back of his van filled with fun stuff . They work now 100%

My battery had gone dead. And I too put it on a charger. The next day, I took it off the charger, and now when the hood closes, or the doors open, the alarm goes off and it takes two pushes of the fob button to get it to turn off.

I started the car, and the alarm kicked off again. And no amount of pressing the fob button would turn off the alarm. I had to shut off the engine before the fob would turn off the alarm.

Based on the above, I used the key to open the trunk and then after about 10 seconds (time might be unimportant) I closed it again. Now when I open the driver door and close it, the alarm no longer goes off. I'll start the car later to see if I still have a problem or not.

This solution may have worked for my situation.
Thanks.

Later: I've started the car and the alarm no longer kicks off. Now I just have to wait and see if the CEL turns off at some point in the next day or so.

@OlatheRX8 Thanks for posting that about the emergency alarm. The exact same happened to me, from a completely dead battery being recharged. As soon as I reconnected the post the alarm went off and I could stop it by pushing the red button on key fab. But as soon as I opened the car door - off again. Then I tried starting the car and the alarm was blaring and would not go off with the key fab until I shut down the engine. I was doing this late last night and probably waking up the whole neighborhood..

So I disconnected the battery post last night, and went in and Googled until I found your post here. This morning I reconnected the battery, alarm went off, I hit the red button to shut it off, then went back and unlocked the trunk with the key. When I unlocked the trunk the yellow lights flashed just like they would when unlocking the car. That must have reset the alarm system because everything works fine now. Who would have guessed that?
