electrical issue?

so, I was changing out the battery to a new one, and now Im having problems. All the power to the interior gauges work, as well as the air pump, which I can hear turn on. The ignition just clicks, and none of the door lights or elecrical adjustments to the seat work. Also when I plug my accessport into the port it doesnt turn on, and the electric trunk release doesnt work, nor any of the elctrical door switches for locking or unlocking the doors....... I already checked all the fuses and they look fine....im wondering if the imobilizer was somehow activated and now the car wont start/ turnover............any ideas?

Is the battery charged? Sounds like a low voltage issue

If the immobilizer is the problem the light will be flashing rapidly...and the ignition won't click\

Did you check the room fuse and the fuses in the cabin??

You mentioned checking all your fuses however have you checked your main 100+ amp fuse?

It's located in the fuse box inside the engine bay below the two primary power connectors. If you reversed the terminals for any reason you might have blown that fuse.

If you get no power from the AP when plugging into the OBDII port then there is a majority of the car not getting any power. A blown main fuse will still light up your dash lights but nothing much else will work.

where is the main fuse? with all the other fuses under the hood? I checked all of them but i didnt see a 100amp fuse in there, I'll go double check, but I didnt see one, largest I saw was a 60amp. would it be one of the buss fuses that you cant really tell if they are blown or not? the big black ones? how would I know if those arent working ? the battery is 100% charged, I checked all the driverside cabin fuses, and the engine bay fuses, which werent blown......not sure about the really large black fuses....I checked all the connections on those and didnt see any black discoloration...but how else would you know if they arent working?

Main fuse is on the side of the fuse box under the hood where the 2 feed wires attach to the fusebox. Rear passenger side corner of the fuse box

yup, it was the main fuse....so does anyone know where to get a new one? this does not look to be a normal fuse that I could go pic up of coarse

anyone know where to get the main 120 amp fuse?

Mazda ;) and likely Ford if your local autoparts place doesn't have them

They are relatively cheap...so going to the dealer is likely as cost effective as running around and spending the extra $5 on gas :)
