Crankshaft Sensor Position?

okay so since I have had my rx8 it has had problems starting, it ranges from starting right away to not starting at all. So when it never starts at all(meaning takes more than a few minutes) the check engine light comes on and when I go to run a scan on the car it says crank shaft sensor position( I will have to look at the exact phrase when i have time). But I have replaced the sensor and it fixed it a little bit but still didnt want to start right away. I have looked all over for an answer but havent found a good one in the forum so I was hoping to get one by posting this.... I am tired of the starting problem and need help!

I never had the starting issues that you had, but I did have a crank shaft position sensor issue that when I brought it into the dealership there was a recall on the code. It had something to do with the battery ground wires or similar.
