cooling down

Alright sorry if this has already been addressed used the search and didn't find any thing.

well when i turn my car off it dose its normal cool-off thing but it seams like it dosent
stop... it was going for a good 45mins so i put the key in and turned it to standby then off and it stopped it.

could i have a problem with my coolant or might there be a problem with it shutting of due to programing issues on the ecu?

I'm glad you searched, because this is a hot topic that no one has an answer to. Your car is indeed overheating and will not last more than a week at it's current pace.

Also, everything in my previous post was a lie.

649.7 degrees!

Shouldn't run any longe than a few minutes.

Are you stretching the true like Hillary?

When it gets really hot, the car will run the fan for a long time. Not sure about 45 minutes but I've had it go on for a half hour for sure. Don't do the key thing to make it stop -- the cooldown process is important. If you want to help it out, raise the hood to help heat escape (asuming you're in shade). Don't worry, running the fan for an hour shouldn't kill your battery. If it does you need a better battery.

Don't run this car hard when it is over 100F.
